One Dead, Three Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Kailali

One person has died and three others were injured after two motorcycles collided in Kailali on Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened in front of the ward office on the Dudejhari road section in Janaki Rural Municipality-3. The motorcycles involved had the registration numbers Se 5 Pa 2660 and Su Pra 01012 Pa 8075, according to police.

Who Was Involved?

• Rakesh Pariyar, 19, from Janaki-8, was riding one of the motorcycles. He died while receiving treatment at Sewa Nursing Home in Nepalgunj.
• The other rider, Pushkar Shahi, 45, is seriously injured and is being treated at Kohalpur Medical College.

Two passengers on the motorcycles were also hurt:

• Princy Shahi, 13
• Kamal Rawal, 18

Both are out of danger and are being treated at Tikapur Hospital, police said.
