Nepal Oil Corporation has lowered the price of petrol but increased the prices of diesel, kerosene, and aviation fuel.
The adjustment comes after receiving a new price list from the Indian Oil Corporation, the main supplier of petroleum products to Nepal.
According to the corporation, petrol is now cheaper by Rs 1 per liter. However, the prices of diesel and kerosene have gone up by Rs 3 per liter each.
The price of international aviation fuel in Kathmandu has increased by USD 21 per kiloliter. For Pokhara and Bhairahawa, the price has been set at the breakdown point. The price of LPG cooking gas remains unchanged.
The new prices will be effective from midnight today.
