Traffic Police Caught Beating Man in Kathmandu Valley

A video showing a man being beaten by traffic police has gone viral on social media.

In the video, four traffic police officers are seen. One of them is seen knocking a man to the ground and hitting him. Another officer throws the man’s documents on the ground and walks away.

The video appears to be from somewhere in the Kathmandu Valley. This assumption is based on the presence of a crowded road, many motorcycles, and a bus labeled “Kirtipur Yatayat.”

However, the exact location and the identity of the officers involved have not been confirmed yet.

SSP Binod Ghimire from the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office said they are still trying to verify the details. “The place looks like Kathmandu, but we are not sure yet,” he said. “Since the officers are wearing winter jackets, the video might be from the colder season, not recent. Still, we are investigating after the video came out.”
