Udayapur, Nepal — Police have seized a large amount of illegal marijuana from an abandoned car in Belaka, Udayapur. The discovery was made on Monday morning.
Authorities found about 240 kilograms of the drug packed in nine sacks inside a car with the license plate number Ba 21 Cha 1811. The vehicle was found left on a road in Belaka Municipality-2.
The police were alerted to the car’s presence and, upon searching it, discovered the contraband.
The investigation is ongoing as police work to find out who the car belongs to and who is behind the drug trafficking.
