Porto and Al Ahly Draw 4-4 in Thrilling Club World Cup Match

In the final Group A match of the FIFA Club World Cup, Portugal’s Porto and Egypt’s Al Ahly played an exciting 4-4 draw.

Al Ahly took the lead four times during the match, but Porto equalized each time to avoid defeat.

Wessam Abdul Ali scored a hat-trick for Al Ahly, and Mohamed Ali Ben added one goal. Wessam opened the scoring in the 15th minute, but Porto’s Rodrigo Mora leveled the match in the 23rd minute.

Wessam scored again in first-half injury time to give Al Ahly a 2-1 lead at halftime.

In the 50th minute, William Gomes scored for Porto to make it 2-2. Just a minute later, Wessam completed his hat-trick, putting Al Ahly ahead again. But Porto responded quickly, with Sam Aghowa scoring in the 53rd minute to tie it 3-3.

Ali Ben scored in the 64th minute to give Al Ahly a 4-3 lead, but Porto’s Pepe equalized in the 89th minute, ending the game 4-4.

Despite the thrilling match, both teams were eliminated from the tournament. Inter Miami and Palmeiras advanced from Group A with 5 points each, while Porto and Al Ahly finished with just 2 points from 3 matches.
