Three people were injured by a lightning strike on Sunday evening in Gorkha.
According to police, the injured are Raju Khanal (42) from Bakrang, Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-1, and Sukumaya Ale (50) and her daughter-in-law, Bipana Ale (18) from Palungtar Municipality-7.
They were at home when the lightning struck.
Raju Khanal, who lost consciousness, was taken to Gorkha Hospital for treatment. Sukmaya and Bipana Ale were sent to Narayani Community Hospital in Chitwan for further care, said Police Inspector Dhruva Prasad Sharma.
