TikTok partners with Nepal Tourism Board to showcase #LifetimeExperiences

TikTok has announced a new partnership with the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) to spotlight Nepal’s natural beauty, heritage, and adventure travel through short-form video storytelling.

The collaboration introduces #LifetimeExperiences, a campaign that brings together global and local creators to explore Nepal and share their journeys on TikTok. From the Himalayas to the Kathmandu Valley, and from remote villages to cultural landmarks, the videos aim to capture the country’s diversity and charm for a worldwide audience.

As part of the project, NTB will host and guide visiting creators, ensuring they experience authentic encounters with Nepal’s landscapes and communities. Alongside travel influencers, artists, cultural figures, and ambassadors will also join the campaign to expand its reach.

“This partnership marks an exciting new chapter in how we share Nepal’s story with the world,” said NTB CEO Deepak Raj Joshi. “By combining TikTok’s global platform with our country’s immersive experiences, we hope to inspire more travellers to choose Nepal.”

TikTok executives believe the campaign aligns with how younger audiences discover destinations. “TikTok is where people come to find authentic travel inspiration,” said Ferdous Mottakin, Head of Public Policy and Government Relations, South Asia at TikTok. “Nepal offers some of the most awe-inspiring natural landscapes and cultural encounters, and we are thrilled to partner with NTB to showcase them.”

The initiative reflects TikTok’s growing role in shaping global tourism trends, as destinations increasingly turn to creator-driven content to attract visitors.
