Today’s Weather in Nepal: July 4th, 2025

Currently, the weather across Nepal is partly to generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain with lightning is happening in a few places in all provinces.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, this afternoon, the hilly areas across the country will be generally cloudy. Other parts of Nepal will be partly cloudy.

There’s a chance of light to moderate rain in some areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and in a few places in the remaining provinces. The department also warns that one or two places in these provinces might experience heavy rainfall. In the high-hilly and Himalayan regions, there’s a possibility of light to moderate rain or snowfall in a few spots.

Tonight, the weather across Nepal will remain partly to generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain is expected in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in a few places elsewhere.

The department also states that Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces might see heavy rain in one or two places. Additionally, light to moderate rain or snowfall is possible in a few high-hilly and Himalayan areas.
