Today’s Weather in Nepal: June 24, 2025

Monsoon winds are currently active across Nepal, affecting weather conditions in all regions.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather this afternoon will be mostly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces, while other regions will see partly cloudy skies.

There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some areas of Koshi and Bagmati Provinces, and a few places in other provinces. One or two places in Koshi and Bagmati may experience heavy rain. Light to moderate rain and snowfall are also possible in the high hilly and mountainous areas of these regions.

Tonight, the weather will remain mostly cloudy in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and other hilly regions, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies.

There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim, as well as a few places in other provinces. One or two places in these four provinces may receive heavy to very heavy rainfall.
