Currently, western winds and local winds are affecting the western and central parts of the country, while most areas in Koshi are influenced by monsoon winds.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the hilly areas will have partly cloudy skies, and the rest of the country will mostly have clear weather.

Today afternoon, Koshi, Madhesh, and the hilly areas of the country will have partly to mostly cloudy skies, while other areas will be mostly clear to partly cloudy.

There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder in some parts of Koshi and a few places in the hilly areas of Madhesh and other provinces.

The department also said that some places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki may experience light rain and snowfall.

At night, the hilly areas including Koshi will be partly cloudy, and other areas will mostly remain clear.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder in some hilly parts of Koshi and Gandaki, and rain or snowfall in the high hills and mountainous regions of these provinces, the department added.
