Today’s weather in Nepal: September 8, 2025

Meteorologists have forecast rainfall today in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces. The monsoon line is currently located further south than usual, bringing generally cloudy weather in hilly areas and partly cloudy skies in other regions.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, some hilly areas and a few parts of the Terai may see moderate rainfall. One or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces could also get heavy rain.

Similarly, the department said there will be generally cloudy conditions in the hills of Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati, while other parts of the hills and Terai may get light to moderate rain, with chances of heavy rain in a few areas of Koshi province.
