Two Nepali students died in a car accident in the United States.
The victims were 22-year-old Rajan Yadav and 20-year-old RoJin Oli, both studying at Louisiana Tech University.
Although both were Nepali citizens, their home addresses in Nepal have not been confirmed.
According to local online news quoting the Louisiana State Police, the accident happened around 9 PM on Asar 29 (July 13). Another outlet, myarklamiss.com, also reported the same but did not mention their Nepali addresses.
Police said Yadav was driving the car. Oli and two others were also in the vehicle. Due to heavy rainfall, the car reportedly slipped off the road, hit a tree, and caught fire. Yadav and Oli died at the scene.
The other two passengers were injured and are being treated at a local hospital. Police are still investigating the incident.

Louisiana Tech University released a statement expressing condolences to the families of the deceased students, though their names and addresses were not included.
University president Jim Henderson wrote on Facebook, “We value care as an important ideal. Always take care of each other.”
