Viral Video Shows Traffic Police Beating Man

Another video has surfaced showing traffic police beating a civilian.

The video, now viral on social media, shows a traffic officer chasing and hitting a young man, reportedly asking him why he was running away.

SSP Binod Ghimire, head of the Valley Traffic Police Office, said they are aware of the video and are trying to find out where it was taken. “We have also seen the video and are investigating its location,” he told The Kirib.

Earlier, another video had shown traffic police beating a man after pushing him to the ground. That incident led to an investigation against four traffic officers. It was later revealed that the video was a few months old.
