Today’s Weather in Nepal: July 31, 2025

On Thursday, July 31, 2025, most hilly areas of Nepal, including Bagmati Province, are experiencing generally cloudy skies, while the Tarai regions have partly cloudy conditions.

Light to moderate rain is currently falling in some parts of the hilly regions of Bagmati and Gandaki, as well as in a few areas of Madhesh and other hill zones.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, skies across the country will stay mostly cloudy throughout the day.

Moderate rainfall is expected in many hilly areas and in a few places in the Tarai. There is also a chance of heavy rain in one or two locations in the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali.

Tonight, most of the country will remain cloudy. Moderate rain is likely in some hilly areas, including Sudurpaschim Province, and in a few parts of the Tarai.
