In Balaju, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16, a woman set herself on fire by pouring petrol over her body.
The woman, 45-year-old Bina Shrestha, who lives in Jagrati Tole, Balaju, set herself on fire around 10 PM on Sunday, according to SP and spokesperson of Kathmandu Police, Apilraj Bohora.
Police said she did this after having a dispute with her husband.
Bina is currently being treated at the People’s Hospital in Naya Bazar. Doctors said about 25% of her body, including her stomach, chest, and left hand, has been burned.
The Balaju Police Office is investigating the case.
