An 18-year-old man who jumped into the Manohara River from Balkumari, Lalitpur Metropolitan City–9, has been safely rescued by the Armed Police Force.
The man, Ayush Badal from Nuwakot, was undergoing treatment at Punarjeevan Hospital in Balkumari. He jumped into the river around 6:40 AM on Wednesday.
According to DSP Shailendra Thapa, spokesperson of the Armed Police Force, a security team deployed near the CPN-UML party office in Chyasal rescued him.
His condition is reported to be normal after the rescue.
