Fifteen teachers were injured during a clash between protesting teachers and police at New Baneshwor.
The clash happened when police tried to stop teachers who were protesting on the Bijulibazar–New Baneshwor road section.
The injured teachers were taken to the Civil Hospital for treatment.
Tul Bahadur Thapa, the General Secretary of the Teachers’ Federation, said that seriously injured teachers are being prepared to be transferred to the Trauma Center.
“We have brought the injured teachers to the Civil Hospital. Those with serious injuries will be moved to the Trauma Center,” he said.
More than 15 teachers were injured in the clash. Details of the injured are still being collected.
Teachers have been protesting since Chaitra 20 (April 2).
