19 Injured as Kathmandu-Chitwan Microbus Accident on Nagdhunga Road

The identities of passengers injured in a microbus accident on the way from Kathmandu to Chitwan have been confirmed.

The microbus, with the number plate Ba 3 Kha 8629, crashed on Saturday afternoon on the Nagdhunga road. According to SP Apil Raj Bohora of Kathmandu Police, there were 19 people on board.

All the injured were rescued and taken to the Armed Police Force Hospital for further treatment. Two of the passengers are in serious condition.

• Subida Malla, 24 – moderate injuries
• Ishwar Thapa, 50, from Chitwan – minor injuries
• Ganesh Paudel, 58, from Kawasoti – minor injuries
• Sant Bahadur Thapa, 40, from Chitwan – minor injuries
• Sunil Shrestha, 25, from Chitwan – minor injuries
• Prashant Adhikari, from Chitwan – minor injuries
• Prayas Gurung, 16, from Narayangadh, Chitwan – minor injuries

Indian citizens:

• Rinku Devi, 24, from Patna, Bihar – injury on left hand
• Ravi Kumar, 49, from Patna – minor injuries
• Sarthak Kumar, 5, from Bihar – minor injuries
• Manavi Kumar, 2, from Bihar – minor injuries
• W. Kumar, 28 – minor injuries (citizenship not confirmed, but likely Indian)
• Raj Kumar, 18, from Patna – minor injuries
• Shiv Kumar, 16, from Bihar – minor injuries
• Pranjal Kumar, 8 – minor injuries (assumed Indian)
• Nishchal Kumar, 14, from Patna – minor injuries
• Ritu Kumari, 28, from Patna – minor injuries

Authorities are continuing to monitor the condition of all passengers.
