Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Sunday.
The match took place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Chennai won the toss and chose to bat first. They scored 230 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs.
Dewald Brevis played a quick knock of 57 runs from 23 balls. Devon Conway also scored a half-century with 52 runs. Openers Ayush Mhatre and Urvil Patel contributed 34 and 37 runs respectively. Prasidh Krishna took two wickets for Gujarat.
Chasing a big target of 231 runs, Gujarat Titans were all out for 147 in 18.3 overs. Sai Sudharsan scored the highest for Gujarat with 41 runs. Arshad Khan added 20 runs.
For Chennai, Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets. Noor Ahmad and Anshul Kamboj took one wicket each.
Chennai won the match by 83 runs.
