The body of a man who went missing while swimming in Begnas Lake has been found.
On the evening of Jestha 25, Rajesh Shrestha, a 43-year-old resident of Manakamana, Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-3 in Gorkha, went missing while swimming in Begnas Lake, located at Majhikuna, Pokhara Metropolitan City-31, Kaski.
After receiving the report of his disappearance, a search team was sent from Armed Police Force Nepal No. 24 Kalika Battalion. The team included 7 divers under the command of an Armed Police Inspector.
According to APF spokesperson DSP Shailendra Thapa, Shrestha’s body was found on Monday morning at a depth of about 35 feet.
