In Arghakhanchi, a man killed his younger brother by hitting him with an axe during a fight.
According to police, 42-year-old Bishnu Bahadur Badi of Shitganga Municipality–6 attacked his 32-year-old brother, Bombahadur Badi, on the head after a heated argument. Inspector Deepak Singh Bisht from Thada Police said the two brothers had an ongoing dispute and were drinking alcohol on Thursday night when the fight broke out.
Locals rushed Bombahadur to a nearby hospital, but he was declared dead around 1 a.m. by the Thada Primary Health Center.
Police arrested Bishnu Bahadur later that night while he was hiding.
