Man kills wife with sickle in Dadeldhura, arrested while trying to flee
A man has been arrested for killing his wife with a sickle in Ganyapdhura Rural Municipality-3, Dadeldhura.
According to police, 54-year-old Karan Bhul attacked and killed his 40-year-old wife, Khimadevi Bhul, late Thursday night at around 11:30 PM.
After the incident, Karan tried to run away but was caught on Friday morning in Goyalkhet, Ganyapdhura-3. He is now in custody at the District Police Office, Dadeldhura.
The police team led by Inspector Dambar Bista arrested him. The incident was reported only on Friday morning, and a police team was sent to the scene for investigation.
Inspector Bista said the motive for the murder is still under investigation, but early findings suggest it may have been caused by a family dispute. More details will be known after a full investigation.
