World-famous professional wrestler Hulk Hogan has died at the age of 71. WWE confirmed that he died due to a heart attack.
Hogan’s real name was Terry Bollea. He started his wrestling career in 1977 and became one of the biggest names in wrestling during the 1980s and 1990s.
He got the name “Hulk” after people compared him to the strong character from the CBS TV show called “The Incredible Hulk.”
In 1979, he joined the World Wrestling Federation (now called WWE) and added the name Hogan, becoming Hulk Hogan.
He was famous for wearing red and yellow clothes, his entrance song called “Real American,” and for having many fans called “Hulkamaniacs.”
Hogan stayed active in wrestling until he was 50 years old. He also worked in TV and movies.
WWE expressed sadness over his death and said they will always remember him in wrestling history.
