A young boy died after drowning in a pond in Kailali.
According to police, 3-year-old Kushal Khanal drowned in a pond at Shankarpur, Gauriganga Municipality-9.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. on Friday at a pond located inside the Buddhiraj Agro Farm, operated by Buddhi Raj Khanal, according to the Malakheti Area Police Office.
The boy was rescued in an unconscious state and taken to Seti Provincial Hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
