Big move from CAN. Cricketer Mohammad Aadil Alam, who was banned over spot-fixing allegations, is officially back.
Alam was caught up in controversy during the Nepal T20 League at TU Ground, Kirtipur, back in Mangsir 2079. After the spot-fixing claims, he was suspended from all forms of cricket — both national and international.
Fast forward to now: CAN’s Integrity Committee did a full review and said it’s time to lift the ban. CAN agreed, and as of Baisakh 21, 2082 (May 3, 2025), Aadil’s suspension is done and dusted.
What this means: He’s now free to return to the pitch — domestic or international.
Welcome back, Aadil.
