Nepali national cricket team all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee has moved back up to second place in the ICC T20I all-rounder rankings.

According to the latest rankings released by the ICC on Wednesday, Dipendra climbed to second after West Indies all-rounder Roston Chase dropped in the rankings. Dipendra was earlier in third place.

Nepal hasn’t played any international matches for the past one and a half months. During this period, performances from players of other teams can affect the rankings.

Recently, West Indies played a five-match T20 series against Australia and lost all five games. Roston Chase had performed well in the first match and reached second in the rankings, but poor performances in the remaining matches caused his rank to drop.

Hardik Pandya of India remains at the top of the all-rounder rankings. Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi is in third place, followed by England’s Liam Livingstone in fourth and West Indies’ Romario Shepherd in fifth. Roston Chase has now dropped to ninth place.

Nepal is set to play a T20I series against West Indies this September.
