The eastern region of Nepal, especially Koshi Province, is currently under the influence of monsoon winds, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
On Sunday afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy in Koshi and other nearby hilly areas. Light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely in some places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
