An elderly man has gone missing after jumping into the Sunkoshi River in Kavrepalanchok.
According to police, 70-year-old Ganesh Majhi from Sarmathali Majhitol, Temal Rural Municipality-3, jumped into the river from a place called Maluwa on Saturday afternoon.
Locals who witnessed the incident immediately informed the police.
A team from the Pachuwarghat police post, along with local residents, is searching for the missing man. His condition remains unknown.
