Inter Milan signs French midfielder Andy Diouf from RC Lens
Inter Milan has completed the transfer of 22-year-old French midfielder Andy Diouf from Ligue 1 club RC Lens. The club announced the signing on Saturday (23/8/2025) early morning. Diouf has signed a contract with Inter until 2030.
“Welcome to the Nerazzurri, Diouf,” Inter Milan said in a statement on social media.
The club did not disclose the transfer fee, but some Italian media reported it could be €20 million plus a €5 million bonus.
Diouf has passed his medical test and was given the number 17 shirt.
The Rennes academy graduate expressed his excitement about joining Inter. “Inter is a club with a rich history. When I heard the news, I didn’t hesitate. It’s an honor to be here,” he said.
“Being an Inter player means a lot. I’m very proud and can’t wait to play at the Giuseppe Meazza,” he added.
Andy Diouf is the fifth signing by Inter Milan in the 2025 summer transfer window. Earlier, the club signed Luis Henrique, Ange-Yoan Bonny, Petar Sucic, and Nicola Zalewski.
