A man’s body was found in a fish pond of a multipurpose farmers’ group in Ramapur, Chandrakot Rural Municipality-8.
On Tuesday evening, locals saw a man’s T-shirt, pants, slippers, and cap on the edge of the pond and informed the police.
According to Gulmi District Police Chief SP Narayan Prasad Adhikari, the deceased was identified as 45-year-old Tulsi Bahadur Chettri from Gulmidarbar Rural Municipality-1, who had been living in Rajali Tole, Chandrakot-8.
He had been staying at the house of 69-year-old Tek Bahadur Rajali, his brother-in-law, for the past 20 years. Police said he left home around 8 am, saying he was going to the market.
Police are investigating the incident.
