A big fire has broken out in Bamka Bazaar, located in Budhiganga Municipality-6 of Bajura district.
According to the District Police Office, the fire started after a gas cylinder exploded at the Navadurga Hotel in the market.
So far, around 16 to 17 shops have been burned.
Efforts to control the fire are still ongoing. Police say the fire started at 3:55 PM and has not been brought under control yet.
A team of 32 police officers, led by Inspector Dev Bahadur Chaudhary, has been deployed to the area.
The fire has caused heavy damage to the market area, but no human casualties have been reported.
