A man who had been missing for several days was found dead on Tuesday afternoon in Pauwagadhi, Kamalamai Municipality-2, Sindhuli.
According to District Police Chief Laldhwaj Subedi, the body of 32-year-old Pradeep Raj Thapa from Kulo Khola, Kamalamai-11, was discovered about 25 feet below the road near the BP Highway.
Thapa had been missing since Asar 19 (around early July), and his neighbor Ramesh Ale had filed a missing person report at the Bhiman Area Police Office.
Following the report, Sindhuli police had been actively searching for him. A police team from the Gadhi Police Post secured the area and has begun a preliminary investigation.
Police have sent the body to Sindhuli Hospital for post-mortem examination.
