Nepal Lose Four Wickets Chasing Big Total Against Scotland in ICC Cricket World Cup League 2

Nepal have lost their fourth wicket while chasing a huge target against Scotland in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 tri-series.

Chasing 324 runs, Nepal lost Arif Sheikh as the fourth wicket. He scored 39 runs off 55 balls with five fours before getting out. Currently, Bhim Sharki is at the crease with 48 runs, and vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee is batting alongside him.

Earlier, opener Kushal Bhurtel was out for 17, Aasif Sheikh for 8, and captain Rohit Paudel for just 3 runs.

Scotland had won the toss and elected to bat first at the Forfarshire Cricket Club Ground in Dundee. They scored 323 runs in their 50 overs, losing six wickets.

Scotland captain Richie Berrington scored a century, hitting 102 runs off 114 balls with six fours and four sixes. Charlie Tear added 68 runs from 65 balls with nine boundaries. Mark Watt remained not out on 21, while Finlay McCreath scored 17.

For Nepal, Karan KC and Dipendra Singh Airee took two wickets each, and Lalit Rajbanshi picked up one.

Nepal are now batting in their chase of the 324-run target.
