A major fire broke out in a 67-storey residential skyscraper known as Tiger Tower in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Saturday morning around 9:30 AM. Despite the intensity of the blaze, over 3,800 people were safely rescued, and no casualties were reported.

Emergency response teams, including Dubai Civil Defence, police, and medical personnel, acted quickly to evacuate the building. Within a short time, 3,820 residents were safely removed from 764 apartments. Videos on social media showed people covering their faces and rushing out through smoke-filled hallways.

Authorities used a well-coordinated emergency system to guide people out and control the fire. Firefighters focused on preventing the flames from spreading while ensuring residents made it out safely.

Although the exact cause of the fire is still unknown, officials confirmed that support is being provided to the displaced residents in coordination with the building’s developers.

This is not the first fire incident in Tiger Tower. In 2015, a fire that started in a kitchen on the 47th floor spread to the 48th floor. Nearby Torch Tower also experienced fires in both 2015 and 2017, raising ongoing concerns about high-rise fire safety in the area.

Thanks to quick action from emergency teams, a potential tragedy was avoided, and thousands of lives were saved.
