School Principal Found Dead in Kalikot

A school principal has been found dead in Ujelgaon, Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality-4 of Kalikot district.

According to the District Police Office Kalikot, 54-year-old Krishna Bahadur Shahi, the principal of Shanti Basic School, was found dead.

On Friday evening, Shahi had gone to the nearby Belupata market. When he didn’t return home by the next morning, his family informed the police.

After a search by locals and police, his body was found near the Belupata market. Kalikot Police Chief Tek Bahadur Rawat said a team from the District Police Office is heading to the site to gather more information.

“The police are going there for an investigation,” he said. “Further details will be known after the investigation.”
