ShofyDrop Launches to Simplify Online Shopping in Nepal

As online shopping grows in Nepal, many new platforms are launching. One of them is shofyDrop, an online marketplace introduced by MSP Solution to connect consumers and businesses more easily.

According to MSP Solution Chairman Roshan Bhusal, shofyDrop helps businesses reduce operational costs and provides a better online experience. “Many platforms charge high commissions,” Bhusal said. “But we’ve introduced a new model to solve that issue.”

Businesses can sign up on shofyDrop.com and add their product details. After verification, they can choose from different selling packages. For example, the basic package allows selling up to 150 items per month and is currently free. The premium package allows selling over 2,500 products and costs NPR 6,000 per month—with a 50% discount currently available on all packages except the basic one.

For each sale, a small 2.5% is charged for platform management, and 0.5% is added as reward points for customers. These reward points can be used in future purchases. Bhusal also mentioned that businesses receive payments in real-time and can connect a digital wallet directly from their dashboard.

Because of the lower fees, product prices are also cheaper for customers. Buyers can sign up, choose a store, buy products online, or even visit the nearby store location shown on the site.

“We listened to the concerns of local sellers,” Bhusal said. “shofyDrop solves the problem of late payments with instant transactions.”
