Nepal Bowl Out Japan for 80 in U-16 East Zone Cricket

Left-arm spinner Shubham Khanal took 5 wickets as Nepal bowled out Japan for a low total in their second match of the ACC Men’s U-16 East Zone Cricket Tournament.

Japan, who chose to bat first after winning the toss, were all out for just 80 runs in 34.3 overs. Captain Charlie Harahinze was the top scorer with 36 runs.

For Nepal, Shubham Khanal delivered an excellent spell, taking 5 wickets for just 15 runs in 10 overs. Abhay Yadav took 2 wickets, while Sushil Rawal and Bipin Prasad Sharma took one each.

Nepal had won their first match against Singapore by 5 wickets.

The U-16 East Zone Cup features 10 teams. Nepal is placed in Group A along with Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, and Bhutan.
