Suspect arrested in Rautahat suitcase murder case

Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of 26-year-old Rubi Kumari Sah from Madhav Narayan Municipality-2, Rautahat.

According to police sources, several pieces of evidence suggest the suspect’s involvement in the killing. An investigating officer said they are questioning the person and verifying the findings.

Rubi had left her rented room on Saturday evening, saying she was going to Gaur Bazaar. Around 6 pm, she also called her mother to ask for some items. But she did not return home that night.

Later that evening, around 10 pm, locals noticed a suspicious suitcase left on the road in Gaur-9, Muduwal Gate area, and informed the police. On Sunday morning, during a search, police discovered Rubi’s body packed inside the suitcase.
