Ward chairman’s son found dead in Kanchanpur

Subash Chandra Bhatta, the 21-year-old son of Bedkot Municipality Ward No. 5 chairman and municipal spokesperson Chitradev Bhatta, was found dead at a house in Bhimdatta Municipality-6, Kanchanpur.

According to District Police Office spokesperson Inspector Sagar Bohora, Subash was found dead inside the house on Tuesday evening. The police have already started an initial investigation into the case.

Subash had been living with his grandmother in Bhimdatta-6.

Police have prepared a preliminary report from the scene and are continuing their investigation. The cause of death is still unknown, and further inquiries are ongoing to find out the exact details.

Subash was a student at Far Western University. His body has been kept at the Mahakali Provincial Hospital for post-mortem. The incident has shocked both his family and the local community.
