JCI brings new momentum to Biratchowk

In the fast-developing town of Biratchowk, JCI Indrapur has emerged as a dynamic youth-led organization driving real change through leadership training, entrepreneurship support, and community service. As a local chapter of Junior Chamber International Nepal, the group has steadily gained recognition for its impactful projects and active youth involvement.

In May 2025, JCI Indrapur hosted one of its biggest events yet—the JCI Nepal Business Academy. Held at Nepalika Hotel in Biratchowk, the four-day national training brought together 68 participants from around the country. The event was inaugurated by Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki and featured expert sessions by leading trainers. For Biratchowk, it was a major moment, positioning the town as a hub for leadership and business learning.

But JCI Indrapur’s impact goes far beyond one big event. Throughout the year, the chapter runs workshops on public speaking, leadership skills, and entrepreneurship for local youth. It organizes blood donation campaigns, tree plantations, and clean-up programs to improve public health and the environment. The group also holds motivational seminars and leadership camps for students, helping them gain confidence and direction.

In a town where structured opportunities for youth are still limited, JCI Indrapur provides a rare platform to learn, lead, and serve. With a strong team led by President JC Aakash Dulal and supported by past and present executives including Utshab Thapa and Nirmal Adhikari, the organization has expanded its influence and continues to innovate.

Looking ahead, JCI Indrapur plans to launch new initiatives focused on mental health awareness, women’s leadership, and local startup support. Their mission remains clear: to build a stronger Biratchowk by investing in young people and empowering them to shape their communities.
