A bus traveling from Mulgau in Dharmadevi Municipality-9, Sankhuwasabha, to Damak met with an accident on Saturday, injuring 14 people.
The bus, with registration number Ba 2 Pa 7244, veered off the road and fell about 10 meters down at Deurali turn in Laligurans Municipality-1, which lies on the border of Sankhuwasabha and Tehrathum districts. The information was shared by DSP Lilaraj Lamichhane of the District Police Office, Tehrathum.

Police said Sabin Bista is in serious condition and has been referred to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for further treatment. The other injured passengers are being treated at Basantapur Hospital.
According to police, the bus driver, Khem Mahat from Dharmadevi-6, fled the scene after the accident and is currently on the run.
