- Standings//
Two people died and three others were injured in a road accident at Special Chowk, Budhanilkantha-7. The crash happened around 1:45 am on Sunday when a scooter (Bagmati Province 02-041 Pa 6819) and a motorcycle (Province 3-02-002 Pa 572) collided.
The deceased are 29-year-old Bhola Thapa from Janakpur, Siraha, and another man around 35 years old whose identity has not been confirmed. They were taken to Teaching Hospital, but doctors declared them dead at 2:15 am. Police said family members have not yet been contacted.
Among the injured are 24-year-old Erik Pariyar from Arupokhari, Gorkha, currently living in Bhangal, Budhanilkantha-8, and two unidentified men aged around 28–32. Police said the condition of the two unidentified men is critical. They are receiving treatment while police search for their families.
