Five arrested with 40 kg of cannabis in Kathmandu

Nepal Police has arrested five people with 40 kilograms of cannabis.

According to Kathmandu District Police spokesperson Apilraj Bohora, the arrested are Nirajan Chepang, Prakash Chepang, and Shankar Chepang from Gajuri-4, Dhading, and Jiban Praja and Suman Chepang from Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.

Police also recovered Rs 125,000 in cash from them. They had hidden the cannabis at the rented room of Sunnam Chepang in Koteshwor, Kathmandu, and were involved in selling it, police said.
