Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is about to sign with Italian club Napoli.
According to Italian news outlets, he is expected to arrive in Naples this week. He’ll undergo a medical check-up and finalize his agreement with Napoli.
De Bruyne is scheduled to fly directly to Naples, Italy, on Thursday for his medical examination. He’s expected to complete all the necessary steps and officially become a Napoli player by Friday.
The Belgian international recently scored a key goal in the 88th minute against Wales in a World Cup qualifier, helping his team win 4-3. He is preparing to sign an initial two-year contract with an option to extend for another year.
De Bruyne is moving to Napoli from Manchester City, where he spent ten years. During his time at City, he won six Premier League titles and the club’s first-ever Champions League trophy.
