The road from Hetauda to Kathmandu has been blocked after a dry landslide.
The landslide happened at Jyamire, Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-3, along the Hetauda-Fakhel-Dakshinkali-Kathmandu road at around 9:30 am on Saturday. According to Makawanpur District Police Office spokesperson DSP Shyam Aryal, transport services have been completely stopped in the area.
In addition, falling stones and trees near Lamidanda, Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-9, along the Tribhuvan Highway have also blocked the road. DSP Aryal said machines are being used to clear the debris at both locations.
