Police are investigating a case of human trafficking where people were reportedly sent to Spain using visit visas. As part of the investigation, the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) raided a travel agency named Visit Abroad Tours and Travels located in Maharajgunj.

The raid was led by CIB’s SSP Hobindra Bogati. The investigation team collected several documents and digital devices from the agency.

According to CIB sources, the seized items are now being examined as part of the ongoing investigation.

The case came to light after reports surfaced that some travel agencies and NGOs sent people to Spain under the pretext of participating in a UN program during former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s visit. This issue was also raised in Parliament, leading to the formation of a special investigation team under SSP Bogati, which is currently active.
