Real Madrid star striker Kylian Mbappe might make his debut in the Club World Cup Round of 16 match against Juventus, according to coach Xabi Alonso.
“There’s a big chance he’ll play, though we don’t know for how long,” Alonso said during a press conference at Hard Rock Stadium on Monday.
Mbappe had to be hospitalized due to a stomach infection before the first match. Because of that, he missed all three group stage games for Real Madrid. The team still managed 2 wins and 1 draw without him.
Now, the tournament could see the return of one of its biggest stars.
