

Nepal was defeated 3-0 by Bangladesh on Sunday in the U-17 Women’s SAFF Championship. The match was held in Thimphu, Bhutan, and this loss has weakened Nepal’s position in the tournament.
The first goal for Bangladesh came in the 41st minute by Thunue Marmala. Sauravi Preeti scored the second goal in the 44th minute. In the second half, Mamani Chakka scored the third goal during the fourth minute of injury time.
With this loss, Nepal remains with only three points from three games. Bangladesh earned six points from their second win in three matches. India leads the tournament with nine points, winning all three of their games.
Earlier on Sunday, India beat Bhutan 8-0. Bhutan remains at the bottom of the table with zero points among the four participating teams.
