Some hilly areas in other provinces may also experience intense rain.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) has warned that the rainfall could lead to floods, landslides, and waterlogging. People living in risk-prone areas are advised to stay alert and prepare in advance.
In the last 24 hours, Syaulibang in Pyuthan recorded the highest rainfall at 120.2 mm. Other areas with heavy rain include Gobre Station in Sindhupalchok (102.6 mm) and Hanumannagar in Kanchanpur (102.4 mm).
Due to the rain-related risks, people are advised not to go near rivers or streams. Travel plans—by road or air—should only be made after checking the latest weather updates and road conditions.
