

Security has been tightened in India after reports that three Jaish-e-Mohammed militants entered Bihar through Nepal.
According to Indian media, the Bihar police headquarters has issued a high alert and deployed intelligence agencies. India Today reported that the three suspected militants are Pakistanis named Hasnain Ali, Adil Hussain, and Mohammad Usman.
The exact border point and time of their entry from Nepal to India have not been revealed. However, their photos and details have been circulated to all police units, with instructions to stay alert.
News18 India said police in Sitamarhi, Madhubani, West Champaran, Araria, Kishanganj, and Supaul districts have been put on alert, with orders to closely monitor suspicious activities. Locals have also been asked to immediately report anything unusual to nearby police.
In 2024, Indian security forces had also arrested three people accused of entering from Nepal as terrorists.
